Protein packed smoothie

This recipe has taken on many variations over the years, but is now our go-to for our plant-powered family.  The kids think it's a milkshake and don't even mind that it's green!  A high powered blender makes all the difference, but it will still work if you don't have one - it just won't get quite as smooth.

1 banana
1 cup milk alternative 
1 scoop peanut butter powder or 2 Tbsp nut butter
1 scoop vegan protein powder
1 handful spinach
1/2 tsp vanilla
Other items we will include and like to alternate also add some ground flax seed, ground sesame seed, ground pumpkin seeds (we often mix these 3 together for a great ground combo) a scoop of hemp seeds.
Ice

Variations:  Fresh or frozen berries, honey, peaches, mangos, nuts, spirulina powder, water instead of milk, apples, etc.
