Smoky Cheddar Cheese

Smoky Cheddar
  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1 jar pimentos with packing liquid
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 3/4 smoked sea salt (we buy ours at Olive Tree)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
Cover almonds with water, cover and refrigerate over night.

1. Drain the almonds. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, beat until mixture is a soft spreadable texture.  You may need to add more liquid (water if necessary).  Taste, add more salt as needed.
